IKEA Cabinet Transformation

The challenge

The client’s kitchen, equipped with IKEA cabinets, felt dark and heavy due to the original stained finish.

The doors showed signs of wear and tear, and the overall aesthetic was outdated.

project goals

e provided a complete transformation by professionally spray painting the existing IKEA cabinet doors. This included:

  • Preparation: Thorough cleaning, degreasing, and sanding of each door to ensure a perfect surface for painting.

  • Priming: Application of a high-quality bonding primer sush as Stain blocker by Renner designed to adhere to the cabinet door surface and prevent the original stain from bleeding through.

  • Spray Painting: A durable, factory-grade finish was achieved by applying multiple coats of Renner cabinet paint using our professional spray system, resulting in a smooth and flawless result without brush marks.

  • Hardware Update: New hardware was installed to complement the fresh paint color, completing the modern look.

The kitchen was completely revitalized, with the professionally painted doors brightening the space and creating a new, contemporary feel at a fraction of the cost of replacing the cabinets.
